Uniform Code

The students are expected to wear: White collared shirts and blue pants (TUCKED INSIDE THEIR PANTS and BELTED); girls are to wear white blouses, blue skirts, slacks, or jumpers. NO SHORTS or SHORT SKIRTS, JEANS OR TEE 

SHIRTS, HATS, CAPS, MAKE-UP, EARRINGS (boys). Uniforms are to be worn DAILY! Gym uniforms can be purchased from the Gym Department Staff. Students are to wear these uniforms on gym days. The gym uniform shorts are not to be worn over school uniforms. All teachers must monitor and enforce he Uniform Dress Code. Below is a list to help teachers enforce the dress code and the consequences to be imposed for flagrant violations. Teachers should maintain some documentation to support imposing consequences. Parents should be informed of the consequences at the beginning of the school year.

  1. Call parent.
  2. Calls parent; request they bring student’s uniform clothes to school.
  3. Call parent; send student home to change clothes (if parent is home).
  4. Have student escorted home, if parent is unable to come to school.
  5. Refer to detention if student continues to disobey rules of the dress code (third offense).
  6. Confer with child / provide encouragement.
  7. Refer to parent to counselor to receive assistance in purchasing uniform(s).

STUDENTS NOT WEARING UNIFORMS DAILY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO:

  1. Attend class trips.
  2. Participate in classroom presentations and assemblies.
  3. Participate in school organizations and clubs.
  4. Participate in extra curricular activities.
  5. Participate in graduation activities / ceremony / trips (8th and KG.)
